You Are My Sunshine Prints

When I was pregnant with my third baby, I was updating the nursery and needed some artwork for above the changing table. I decided I wanted to use part of the lyrics from "You Are My Sunshine" and got this idea in my mind of a sun with big rays, but that it would be divided and spaced out a bit. So after playing around with things, this is what I came up with...
I got them printed as large matte finish photos from Costco (12x12, I believe), and then mod podged them onto canvases. But they would also be cute in frames, printed directly onto canvas, mod podged onto wood, etc., etc. It is a nice, big, bright piece of artwork on the wall, and it makes me happy every time I look at them. (Oh, and for weeks on end, every time I changed my baby's diaper, he would stare up at them and grin, so I think he approved, as well!) I did these colors to match my specific nursery, but if you would like different colors of words, feel free to email me at gdesignedforyou@gmail.com.
The four prints can be downloaded from the links below. I hope you enjoy them!

God Gave Us Families Print

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (or the "Mormon" church), and one of the things we believe is that the family is central to God's plan for us. There is a song that children learn at church called, "The Family is of God" (listen here) that beautifully outlines family roles and importance. One line that has especially stuck out to me says, "God gave us families to help us become what He wants us to be." That phrase has been running through my head non-stop for over a week, so I finally decided to make a print of it. :) Whether you are a member of the LDS church or not, this might be something that you find to be true, and if that's the case, I hope you can use and enjoy this print! Links to downloads are below.
(And if interested, you can learn more about my beliefs here and here, or feel free to email me with any questions.)

Hi-Chews Valentine's Printable

I don't know if your kids are picky about what valentines they hand out, but my sweet little preschooler insisted on using hi-chews candies for hers this year. I wasn't one to argue, though, since I think they are delicious (and you can buy a big bag of them at Costco for a great price!) I designed these labels to fit a snack size ziplock bag so all you have to do is stick some hi-chews in the baggie, cut out and fold the printable in half, and staple it on. I left the backside of the label blank, so it would be a great spot for your kids to address their valentines if wanted. Then, voila! You've got yourself and unique and fun Valentine treat to hand out.
(PLEASE NOTE: For some reason if you try to download and print from a mobile phone, it prints out at a smaller size. To get the correct size, it needs to be downloaded and printed from a computer. Just scroll down and click on the link below, which will open it in google drive, and then from there click on the download button at the top of the screen.)

Happy Valentine's Day!
